We are no just 17 hours away from the Fire Emblem Direct and while very little is publically known about what will be shown off, there is some news that can be found, if you know where to look.
Not everything I previously reported and heard about Fire Emblem Warriors turned out to be true, but the source who’s information was correct has shared a few new tidbits with me, and handed me a few rumour he heard as well, all of which I shall share here now with all of you:

With the Fire Emblem Direct schedule to kick off tomorrow, reported to give Fire Emblem Warriors the coverage it deserves, it seems there might be more Fire Emblem news in store for us.
While it would be great to hear about the mobile Fire Emblem game which is rumoured to be further along than the smartphone Animal Crossing game and a February release planned (remember it’s just a rumour), instead we might just learn of Nintendo’s plans to bring Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation to the Nintendo Switch. Investigative Sleuth Emily Rogers has updated her previous statements as regards to Wii U Ports to the Nintendo Switch as newer and clearer information has been divulged to her by her sources.
She has taken to her twitter account to declare that one of her previous statements about a Wii U Port to Switch is not a port but that Mario Kart still is. Mario Kart is to also have 16 extra tracks, more characters (8 are reported but even Rogers has said the numbers could be wrong) and a better battle mode. I guess you could refer to the port as a 1.5 version has it will have extra features that were not present in the Wii U Title.
There is also the possibility that the other previously rumoured Wii U Port may now instead become a fully fledged sequel but there is no confirmed evidence as of yet. You can check out some of the tweets from Emily Rogers Below.

To all Metroid fans, the time to rejoice is now for if the rumours are true, a new Metroid title is on its way to the Nintendo Switch.
While some of you may be put off to learn that OBE1plays voiced the subject that caused the creation of this article, in his Day 12 Nintendo Switchmas video, someone else was mentioning a Metroid game for the Switch, hours ahead of OBE1plays and that someone is Liam Robertson. Continue reading (Rumour) Samus Aran Returns! New Metroid is Coming to the Switch!
If you haven’t seen it yet, Day 11 of OBE1plays Nintendo Switchmas is up on YouTube and this time he’s talking streaming services.
According to his sources, streaming services such as Hulu, Amazon Prime and Netflix will not be available at launch, because Nintendo are solely focused on gaming for the Nintendo Switch. If not clear enough, in other words it means that as far as launch goes, they only care about ensuring the Switch has as a fantastic line-up and not anything else, as that can come later. It is also for that reason that OBE1plays stated that the presentation will be hugely focused on the games that are coming and the console itself. Continue reading (Rumour) Don’t Expect any Streaming Services Available at Launch
OBE1plays is back with another of his live Nintendo Switchmas videos, and this time he’s talking about the Switch’s online services!
According to his sources, online services for the Nintendo Switch will be available at Launch. However given the way in which it is expressed, it implies that either the sources can only comment for launch as they are unsure themselves of whether it will be free long term, or that Nintendo fans fears will become a reality and at some point down the line, we will need to start paying. Continue reading (Rumour) Online Services for Nintendo Switch Will be Free at Launch
Last week, YouTube content creator OBE1plays released a video in which he “leaked” the news of an exclusive Shin Megami Tensei title for the Nintendo Switch and while there was some doubt regarding his claim, latest developments hint otherwise.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Shin Megami Tensei, an anniversary which happens this year, a new website for the celebration has just gone live and the logo they’ve created for it is very promising indeed. From I to IV, we see each title get the attention it deserves, but wait what’s that? Continue reading Rumours of an Exclusive Shin Megami Tensei Title for Nintendo Switch Gain More Credibility

Once again, OBE1plays is back with Day 8 on Nintendo Switchmas and we’re back with over coverage of the video!
So what was “leaked” this time? Well how about the fact that according to OBE1plays, the Nintendo Switch only requires less than 30 minutes to charge. While it is no secret that the Switch is said to use USB-C for charging, until now it’s never been actually stated how long the console takes to charge. If this is true, it is very exciting news because even if the handheld only has a battery life of 2-3 hours, at least we won’t have to wait long before it’s ready to go again. Continue reading (Rumour) Nintendo Switch only Requires Around 30 Minutes to Fully Charge

Whether or not this is true, it was previously reported that this is one of the games Nintendo were going to talk about during the presentation, so while we may not have confirmation right now, we could be getting it next week.
