Pokémon Sun & Moon’s 5th Global Mission is an Instant Success

Yep that losing streak we had, it’s well and truly behind us!

Yesterday the 5th Global Mission for Pokémon Sun & Moon got underway.  A mission that requires players to hatch 200,000 eggs before 23:59 UTC on the 10th of April. Doing so would earn the players 2,000 FC if they don’t have a PGL account and 4,000 if they did. But should players hatch a total of 400,000 than everyone would also get a Love Ball and also a Rare Candy, provided of course they hatch 3 or more Pokémon themselves. After already being ousted by Nintendo of America yesterday and , just in case there was any doubt about who the bunny-eared Heroes, those doubts can now cease.

[Random] Nintendo of America Ousts The Identity of Fire Emblem Heroes’ Bunny-eared Heroes

Even the mightiest of giants can have a little slip and every now and then and today Nintendo of America have slipped.

Following the tease of new bunny-eared Heroes arriving on the 30th of March, Nintendo of America have just revealed the new Heroes to be Chrom, Lucian, Camilla and Xander and with their arrival comes new Paralogue Maps and Special Quests. (I hope you’ve been saving those Orbs because this will be the perfect time to use them.) But the tweet has suddenly disappeared, but not before a photo can be taken, which can be seen here:

[Interview] Visiting the Otherside for a Quick Flipping Death Q&A

Revealed near the end of last month, Flipping Death is one fine looking indie game headed to the Nintendo Switch and it is developed by none other than Zoink Games. We knew they were developing something for the Switch and had even seen a few teasers on Twitter, but we didn’t know what it was until the reveal. But the cat is out the bag and there was even a playable demo at PAX East and GDC, so we took it upon ourselves to arrange a little Flipping Death interview and now that we’ve got all the responses back, here’s everything Zoink Games’ Mikael Forslind was able to say about the upcoming title: Continue reading [Interview] Visiting the Otherside for a Quick Flipping Death Q&A

[Random] Physical Release of Gurumin Could Happen!

As far as indie games on 3DS go in 2016, Gurmin 3D was without a doubt one of the best ones that gamers money could buy and now for players who wish to do own the title physically, such a thing could happen.

On Twitter earlier today in Europe, Mastiff Games, the publisher responsible for the Gurumin port, expressed an interest in doing physical release, whilst engaging their fans and followers to gauge their interest and we’ve got that tweet right here: Continue reading [Random] Physical Release of Gurumin Could Happen!

[Random] 10 Million Android Downloads and Counting! (Super Mario Run)

Super Mario Run hasn’t even been available in the Google Play Store for even a week and already the free to download title has surpassed 10 million downloads (and now we know how many Mario fans with android devices, were left waiting for so long.)

However this does not mean the 10 million new players purchased the full title as many android users have taken a leaf out of iOS device owners book, and are constantly complaining about the $10 dollar price tag, but I have said it time and time again, Super Mario Run is worth the $10 dollar single payment, but at the end of the day, the decision rests with you, but way to go Super Mario Run! That’s another 10 million in the bag!

[Editorial] Should Nintendo bring their Mobile Titles to the Nintendo Switch?

Welcome to another Miketendo64 editorial and coming up on today’s piece, I’ll be arguing the Pros and Cons of Nintendo bringing their mobile titles to Nintendo Switch.

Now straight away a few of you may be thinking “why would they want to?” and you would be right to do so. I adore Super Mario Run and I even enjoy Fire Emblem Heroes and while they are a great mobile representation of the videogame series’ they represent, its a whole different ballgame if they were playable on one of Nintendo’s available home consoles. But then again, whilst they may not be the best representation, they would still act as great introduction titles for gamers who have never played a single Mario/Fire Emblem game. Titles that could get new to Nintendo/Switch owners interested in buying Super Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem Warriors, Fire Emblem Switch and even the Mario/Rabbids game we’ve been hearing Ubisoft are working on. [Event] Gold Goombas Will March again in Super Mario Run

With Super Mario Run now available on both android and iOS devices, the timing couldn’t be any more perfect than to get the second Gold Goombas event underway!

While not much has been said in today’s forewarning notification, the event will most likely be like last time, which sees Gold Goombas appearing in the World Tour and by squishing a whole ton of them players can go on to fill out Stamp Cards and earn Gold Goomba related statues. Here’s the requirements and rewards we had to aspire too the last time the Gold Goombas were in town:
