After a little bit of pondering as to whether we should cover Miitomo’s whole “Style Central on Trend Picks,” I decided “what the hell?” And committed myself to the idea. Fortunately, I’d only have to do one more post on it, as the admin team have made all of their picks and after already sharing their first pick, here’s Picks 2, 3 & 4: Continue reading [Random] Style Central on Trend Picks 2, 3 & 4 (Miitomo)
Well Trainers, we’ve done it again! Both milestones for the Harvest Poké Beans Global Mission has been met!
As part of Miitomo’s 1st anniversary celebrations that were hosted last month, one of the events was a Style Central event, in which would see the Miitomo admin time scour the Style Central “for the latest and greatest outfits in the Miitomo app!” Well fast forward a couple of months and the time has come to share the first fashionable Mii and we’ve got the first chosen one, right here:
If this is something you would like to see more of, be sure to let us know and we’ll share every fashionable Mii who is chosen, as opposed to sharing the occasional one here and there.

Still on the fence about whether or not you should attend E3 this year? In SteamWorld Dig, Dorothy was just an NPC whom helped Rusty get to know the world around him and get settled in. But in SteamWorld Dig 2, Dorothy is the protagonist and she is ready for action. Continue reading [Random] Image & Form Show off Concept Art for SteamWorld’s Dorothy
Buyers of the launch edition, prepared to be pissed off!
As we await news for a physical release for those of us with a Switch in Europe, a second run of physical copies of The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ has been confirmed by Nicalis and the boxart could not be any more epic than it is now!
I feel bad for those who brought the launch edition and then see this, because while the game is the same, regardless of what the cover looks like, it would have been nice to have been warned that a second run could feature different art compared to the original but it is what it is and this new edition is awesome! And to further illustrate such point, here’s both the new and old cover for you to decide which one looks best:

If I had to pick out one of the things I enjoy most about Pokémon GO, the loading screens certainly spring to mind, especially since Niantic have a habit of surprising new designs on us and today is no exception as a new Loading Screen is available for viewing and it is gorgeous! So naturally we’re sharing it right here for all of you to see:
Or do you disagree and prefer one of the earlier Loading Screens? Give voice and comment below. We love to hear from you!

Just in case there was doubt in the truth of Square Enix’s words that Switch is their priority platform for 2017 that doubt should now lessen.
On Twitter, Takashi Tokita (one of the Directors responsible for Chrono Trigger and Square Enix employee since 1985), has shared a photo of the Switch and the caption “Top Secret Mission Starts.”
What isn’t known though, is if this mission is to do with an entirely new game for Switch, or one of the games Square Enix have deemed feasible to port to Switch, but requires Tokita’s involvement, but just as soon as an answer comes, you can expect to learn it at miketendo64.com and that’s a promise!

After reading that title, you maybe be thinking “but the Nintendo Switch doesn’t have a Miiverse” and you’re right to do so, but read on and all will be clear.
So while the Switch may not use/support the Miiverse, the Wii U and 3DS sure does and it seems a few new Switch owners have tried sharing their new Friend Code via Miiverse as an official announcement came along and advised the Switch owners against doing so and we’ve got a photo of said announcement, right here: Continue reading [Random] Miiverse Advises Switch Owners to not Share their Friend Codes
Given just how bad the DK Rap was, it’s rather amazing quite a lot of people in this world has never seen it/heard of it and if you’re among them, then for the purpose of this article, I will to need you to watch this video:
Even the mightiest of giants can have a little slip and every now and then and today Nintendo of America have slipped.
Following the tease of new bunny-eared Heroes arriving on the 30th of March, Nintendo of America have just revealed the new Heroes to be Chrom, Lucian, Camilla and Xander and with their arrival comes new Paralogue Maps and Special Quests. (I hope you’ve been saving those Orbs because this will be the perfect time to use them.) But the tweet has suddenly disappeared, but not before a photo can be taken, which can be seen here:
Are you looking forwards to this arrival of the Easter themed Heroes? Let us know!

As far as indie games on 3DS go in 2016, Gurmin 3D was without a doubt one of the best ones that gamers money could buy and now for players who wish to do own the title physically, such a thing could happen.
On Twitter earlier today in Europe, Mastiff Games, the publisher responsible for the Gurumin port, expressed an interest in doing physical release, whilst engaging their fans and followers to gauge their interest and we’ve got that tweet right here: Continue reading [Random] Physical Release of Gurumin Could Happen!
Super Mario Run hasn’t even been available in the Google Play Store for even a week and already the free to download title has surpassed 10 million downloads (and now we know how many Mario fans with android devices, were left waiting for so long.)
However this does not mean the 10 million new players purchased the full title as many android users have taken a leaf out of iOS device owners book, and are constantly complaining about the $10 dollar price tag, but I have said it time and time again, Super Mario Run is worth the $10 dollar single payment, but at the end of the day, the decision rests with you, but way to go Super Mario Run! That’s another 10 million in the bag!

It is the 25th of March and as well as being a day this year where there was hardly any good Nintendo news, it is also the day that President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aimé celebrates his 56th birthday, so from all of us here at Miketendo64, happy birthday Reggie and here’s to many more to come!
