A little earlier today, a new event for Pokémon GO got underway, only it seems this event is more special than the previous ones.
According to reports and believe me, numerous ones are coming in, it seems Shiny Pokémon have finally made it into Pokémon GO. Granted it only seems limited to just Shiny Magikarp and Gyarados, but hey, at least it’s something, although nothing official has actually been said about this, so it will be interesting to see what Niantic do say when they start talking. With less than 16 hours remaining before the Final Round of the Prince vs Princess Voting Gauntlet, Lucina is dominating the battle as a new status update is rolled out!
As of the time of typing this, Lucina currently has 9,611,956,521 points, whereas poor Ephraim’s. army has only been able to acquire 2,444,481,819 points so far. So going by the current standings, it does appear victory is well and truly Lucina’s as it will be hard for Ephraim to catch up to her now, so it will be interesting to see how many points Lucina’s army would have raised by the end of the competition. Continue reading [Random] Over 39 Billion votes and Lucina is Dominating the Final Round

Just in case a new setting, a new story, new weapons and arenas wasn’t enough to properly establish Splatoon 2 as a true sequel, maybe this well.
That tweet you see above is the reveal of a brand new clothing brand for Splatoon 2, one that is described as being a casual, sporty street fashion that combines various cultures, such as art & music. I don’t know about you but this new line sure is one way to Stay Fresh with Splatoon 2. I will need to see more of it though before I fully commit to it. How about you our delightful readers?

I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but “Don’t eat the Switch Cartridges!” and while we’re at it don’t like them either.
I know the cartridges are small and it is something children will try to do, but adults are doing it as well. Granted these grown men and women are professional journalists in the gaming industry, so they do have a valid enough reason for giving it a go, but to me it’s just, je ne sais quoi. Let’s go with inappropriate. That’s a good enough word.
But the funny thing about all this is the fact that everyone who has tried it or licked a cartridge rather, they have all reported it having a bitter taste, so Kotaku reached out to Nintendo as to why this is and got an interesting response:
“To avoid the possibility of accident ingestion, keep the game card away from young children. A bittering agent (Denatonium Benzoate) has also been applied to the game card. This bittering agent is non-toxic.”
So not only do the cartridges leave a bad taste in your mouth, but it’s actually intentional as well, which is rather interesting and random at the same time, but hey we learned something new today and because I would prefer it if our readers didn’t try licking/eating their Switch game cards, here’s a video of one particular journalist giving it a try and his immediate reaction. Enjoy:
It’s that time of month, the beginning, where new rewards are added to My Nintendo and now a new Super Mario Run reward has been added.
