The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild has recently been updated to version 1.1.2 and now Nintendo have officially released the patch notes which list what has been fixed.
Wolf Link amiibo exploit has been fixed. Some users were able to summon Wolf Link with a full 20 hearts without completing the Cave Of Trials in The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. It has now returned to the default three hearts. Those who have completed the Cave Of Trials will have the same amount of hearts that they had when they finished.
The Infinite arrow glitch seems to have been fixed in which players could pick up as many arrows as they like as long as the enemy keep firing arrows at them. It has now been limited to 20-25 arrows maximum meaning all arrows fired afterwards will despawn.
A glitch involving certain bosses disappearing mid-battle has also been fixed. YouTube viewer Michael V commented on the latest GameXplain 1.1.2 Zelda Update Video that he encountered a glitch whilst fighting Master Kohga in which he did disappear during battle, stopping him from completing his quest to reach Divine Beast Vah Naboris. The update has allowed Michael to restart the boss fight once he returned to the Yiga Clan Hideout.
NWPlayer123 backs up this statement saying that Master Kohga’s AI has been updated along with code fixes and save tracking. .

Youtuber Haley Ojedi got the surprise of her life this week as she was finishing up her Breath Of The Wild Live Stream. During her fight with Ganon and the ending credits, Haley began receiving messages via live chat from none other than The Voice Of Revali himself (English Version), Sean Chiplock. He didn’t just congratulate her and encouraged her along but also sent a special audio message and gave a generous donation to help raise the money she needed to go to E3 this year.
It is nice to see that there are some people out there willing to give to complete strangers and help them on their way and when sharing a love for Zelda just makes it all the more beautiful.
You can check out the recording below of Sean Chiplock appearing on Haley’s Live Stream Below.
Thought Sean Chiplock voiced revali, the Rito Champion, he wasn’t the only character he voiced. He also did the voice work for the Great Deku Tree and Teba as well.

WARNING! This Post May Contain Minor Spoilers!
I have been trying to find the words to describe this game and the time to write them. Alas, I have finally managed to find both and will now take my time to express my thoughts about The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. I was never a fan of the name to start with and when the game was announced, I did feel a little disappointed that Nintendo’s biggest Zelda Game to date was named like a Discovery Channel Program. Name aside I still had high hopes for this game and the long wait that all of us Zelda fans have endured had me bordering fanatical obsession, constantly scouring the Internet for news that would shed more details about what was to be the best game ever coming to the Wii U (and the Switch).

Hey everyone! Mr. Panda here, with a special treat! Here is my premiere review video of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch! Don’t worry. It’s spoiler-free. Enjoy!
Not to be left out, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the latest Switch available game to have a downloadable patch released this week.
The update is of course version 1.1.1 and consists of adjustments that have been made to make for a pleasant gaming experience and for players wanting to download the patch, can of course do so whilst playing, or whilst the console is in Sleep Mode as that is proven to download 15% faster. (Update is also available for the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild.)
Additionally Breath of the Wild may not be the only game that receives a patch/update this week, as Has-Been Heroes has another one on the way, as does FAST RMX and as always, you can expect to learn about the updates, here at Miketendo64.
After the release of a three-part Making Of series that looks behind the scenes of the creation of Nintendo’s Biggest game to date, Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. Nintendo have just uploaded a extra “Bonus Session” episode which has a number of the Developers that worked on Breath Of The Wild talkingabout their favourite aspects of the game including favourite characters, shrines and more. You can see for yourself in the video below.
If you have yet to see any of the other videos in the Making of Series that look at the creation of the “Open-Air” concept, Characters and the beginning of it all, you can find them on our previous post (Video) The Making Of The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

IGN recently caught up with Zelda: Breath of the Wild director Hidemaro Fujibayashi, technical director Takuhiro Dohta, and art director Satoru Takizawa to talk more indepth about the development and creation of the game which brought up some very interesting comments. Some topics that were brushed on include starting out with a small team, the 2D prototype that represents the original Legend Of Zelda on NES, creating The Great Plateau first and building the map around it afterwards, How guardians came to be and more.
Below is a summary of the interview. You can find the full article at IGN here. I would also like to point out that most of the topics that were touched upon were also discussed in Nintendo’s three-part Making Of… Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild which you can check out in one of our previous posts (Video) The Making Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

Most of you that have been playing Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, be it on the Nintendo Switch or Wii U, you will no doubt have come to a point in the game where you have used one of the Champion’s weapons and have it break on you. Though they are awarded to you after recapturing the Divine Beast by the chief of the people that the said Divine Beast is to supposedly protect, these weapons are much stronger and durable but not unbreakable and will eventually have to be discarded.
All is not lost however, as there are masons of sorts in each of the four hometowns of the Champions that can replace the Champion weapon associated with their champion. The Zora mason can replace Mipha’s Trident, the Goron mason can replace the Daruk’s Sword, The Rito mason can replace Revali’s Bow and Buliara can replace Urbossa’s Scimitar and Shield. To replace each item comes at a cost which requires certain materials to forge them. Most being a weaker version of the weapon, a diamond and 5 pieces of flint or wood. Check out the slideshow below which shows you which characters you will need to talk to in order to recreate the appropriate Champion’s Weapon.
You can only replace the champion weapons if you have already owned them. The masons won’t forge you replacement weapons until you have beaten the Divine Beast that threatens their land and possessed the original Champion’s weapon which is awarded to you by the Chief of their Race.
