According to a new Sensor Tower report, Pokémon GO has now surpassed $1 billion in worldwide gross revenue, which makes it the fastest mobile game ever to do so. So congratulations Niantic for such a monumental achievement, and to you Game Freak and The Pokémon Company, for both giving us Pokémon in the first place and building it up into the successful franchise it is today.

The Father of Pac-Man, Masaya Nakamura has passed away on January 22nd, he was aged 91.
Nakamura founded the company Namco in 1955 and created the pill gobbling sensation that is globally known as Pac-Man. Bandai Namco which in 2005 formed a merger between Bandai & Namco, confirmed on Monday that Nakamura has died but wouldn’t comment on the cause or other personal details, respecting his family wishes.
A private wake and funeral were held for the family but a separate memorial is being planned according to Bandai Namco.
Nintendo America have also issued a tweet paying their respects to Masaya Nakamura
Pokémon Duel has only been out in select countries for one week and already it’s received a new content update.
Three new figures have been added to boosters with Articun, Zapdos and Motros added as EX Figures. Poliwhirl, Tentacool, Golbat, Exeggutor and Arbok as UC Figures and Onix and Wigglytuff as R Figures.
Attention iOS owners and Super Mario Run players, a new update is out and it’s actually a good one! So here’s a list of all the changes update version 1.1.0 has to offer:
- Added Easy Mode, which gives unlimited Bubbles and removes the time limit.
- Compatibility with new events.
- Compatibility with Korean.
- You will lose fewer Toads when losing in Toad Rally, and it will be easier to gather Toads.
- After receiving the My Nintendo reward Toad, he cannot be received again if save data is deleted. In order to resolve this issue, there is no longer a limit on the number of times Toad can be downloaded.
- Fixed other issues.

Nothing but good news folks!
Coming straight from Nintendo’s financial results briefing, Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima, has confirmed that pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch are good, so in light of that, Nintendo now intend to increase Switch production so that more consoles will be available for purchase when the Nintendo Switch releases in March. He also expressed his belief that that console will do well upon release.
