A little earlier today, a new event for Pokémon GO got underway, only it seems this event is more special than the previous ones.
According to reports and believe me, numerous ones are coming in, it seems Shiny Pokémon have finally made it into Pokémon GO. Granted it only seems limited to just Shiny Magikarp and Gyarados, but hey, at least it’s something, although nothing official has actually been said about this, so it will be interesting to see what Niantic do say when they start talking. The event is the Water Festival, and because the likes of encountering Magikarp, Squirtle, Totadile and plenty of other Water-types, was hard enough already, now it’s not as all of them will be appearing more often and there’s also a new hat for your avatar to where as well. But because we don’t want to spoil what the hat is just yet, you can read about it here, as part of the official announcement. Besides having different hats, they’ll also have different levels, and differing moves and we have all of that information: Continue reading More Details on the Japanese Ash-Pikachu Distribution for Sun & Moon
Sun or Moon? Mewtwo X or Mewtwo Y? Talk about a tough choice!
Thankfully though, we will not have to choose between which game and which Mewtwo is better as a global distribution of Mewtonite X and Mewtonite Y is happening this very minute and as long as you own at least one of the Gen 7 games, then using the Serial Code: M2DESCENT will get you both Mega Stones, just as long as you remember to pick them up from the deliveryman. I guess the losing streak is well and truly over!
The “Earn BP from the Battle Tree” Global Mission only started today and already players have surpassed 550,946 Battle Points! So not only have players earned enough to get the 2,000/4,000 Festival Coins, but they surpassed the second goal as well, meaning we all get a Heavy Ball as well. Now if you’re thinking, “I didn’t even sign up to participate, so am I eligible for the prizes?” the answer is yes. Provided you register to participate while the event is still running, you can still win the completion rewards provided you get 3 BP of your own, and you will also get 5 pieces of Rare Candy.
But way to go Trainers, you really knocked it out of the ball park on this one!
