The Official Pokémon GO Facebook page has uploaded a photo celebrating the fact that 87 Million Eggs were hatched during the Easter Eggstravaganza Event. That is actually pretty good going, I suppose the possibility of getting rarer Pokémon in 2K eggs and double XP helped somewhat and no doubt a few dollars were spent in buying incubators for hatching those egg. Well it is nice to see Pokémon Go still going strong. We can only hope it continues to get better and better over time.

We knew its name. We even knew what it looked like, but now Marshadow has been officially and we’ve got the official video that revealed the “new” Pokémon right here:
According to Serebii, Marshadow (a Fighting/Ghost-type Pokémon,) is to tie in with the upcoming Pokémon: I Choose You movie, which makes sense since the official Pokémon website cites Marshadow not being encounterable in normal gameplay. Other than that though that is literally everything that was revealed, but the promise of more details to come has been made and once we have them, you can expect to see Marshadow featuring on miketendo64.com once again!
Until said time comes though, keep on gaming!

It wouldn’t be a true April Fool’s day without something Pokémon related reaching the internet and now something has!
Well Machamp always did like to show off his bulging muscles, so if any Pokémon was to begin a modelling career, Machamp is a suitable choice, but who took the photo? Clearly it’s the work of a professional photographer, so maybe The Pokémon Company enlisted Toby from Pokémon Snap to dust the lens off his camera, come out of retirement and capture this captivating shot.
That’s what I like to think anyway, because I’m partly crazy like that, but what do you make of this Pokémon mockery? Are you all for it, or against it as you feel another Pokémon would have done the job better? Let us know!

A little earlier today, a new event for Pokémon GO got underway, only it seems this event is more special than the previous ones.
According to reports and believe me, numerous ones are coming in, it seems Shiny Pokémon have finally made it into Pokémon GO. Granted it only seems limited to just Shiny Magikarp and Gyarados, but hey, at least it’s something, although nothing official has actually been said about this, so it will be interesting to see what Niantic do say when they start talking. When you live in-land with no body of water in close proximity, it can be rather hard to encounter some Water-type Pokémon, only thanks to a new Pokémon GO event, all of that is about to change.
The event is the Water Festival, and because the likes of encountering Magikarp, Squirtle, Totadile and plenty of other Water-types, was hard enough already, now it’s not as all of them will be appearing more often and there’s also a new hat for your avatar to where as well. But because we don’t want to spoil what the hat is just yet, you can read about it here, as part of the official announcement.
