Pokémon fans rejoice as very soon you’ll be able to play the original Pokémon Stadium on Nintendo Switch very soon. Nintendo has announced earlier today that Pokémon Stadium will be the next game to come to the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. The announcement came in the form of a short trailer on Nintendo Americas’s YouTube channel and is slated to release next week on April 12th. The trailer also reiterates that Pokémon cannot be transferred into the game.

While it is going to take some adjustment to playing with only the rental Pokémon and some features won’t be accessible due to requiring Pokémon Red, Blue or Yellow to access them, we are still looking forward to jumping into Pokémon Stadium when it releases next week.
