Pokémon TCG players who have been trying to reach Master Ball Rank in Ranked Matches will he pleased to know that the app developers will be adding some welcoming changes in upcoming seasons. One such example is the removal of demotion between Ultra Ball to Great Ball and Master Ball to Ultra Ball. The consecutive win streak bonus will also be applied to Ultra Ball and Master Ball to help players climb the ranks.

Future Update to Ranked Matches
The following updates are planned in order to make Ranked Matches more enjoyable:
• Starting after the season beginning in late June, a consecutive win bonus will be added to Ultra Ball Rank and Master Ball Rank.
• Starting after the season beginning in late July, players will no longer drop from the following ranks mid-season:
✅ Master Ball ↓ Ultra Ball
✅ Ultra Ball ↓ Great BallPlease note that there are currently no plans to change drops in rank that are applied at the beginning of the season.
