Hello and welcome back to Jacktendo Selects, the monthly feature in which sees me count down my favourite games on Switch in the month that they came out and reveal the game I’m most looking forwards to from the following month!
This time around, instead of revealing the Top 5, I’m revealing the Top 10 Switch games that met my rules! (Yup, I pulled my finger out and reviewed plenty of games this month!) “What rules may they be?” you may wonder. Well a game can only appear in this list, if I have personally played it and reviewed it. It will also need to be a full game, which means if it is a demo like the Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition demo, which was briefly available in July, than it won’t be making an appearance, but it’s full game most definitely will later on down the line!
So from least favourite to personal favourite, here are My Top 10 Switch Games of July 2017:

However, since the photo list does not reveal how each title faired in my reviews, here is a written list that does just that goes from highest score game to the lowest and provides links to the reviews themselves:
9/10 – Splatoon 2
8/10 – Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star
8/10 – Namco Museum
8/10 – Cave Story+
7/10 – I and Me
7/10 – Bulb Boy
7/10 – Ultra Hyperball
7/10 – Death Squared
6/10 – Shephy
6/10 – Vaccine
And just so they don’t feel left out, here’s a few of the other Switch games that were reviewed this month, only they were reviewed by my partner in crime (Mike Scorpio) and while some are newly released games for July, some came to Switch earlier this year:
7/10 – New Frontier Days: Founding Pioneers
7/10 – Levels+: Addictive Puzzle Game
7/10 – Othello
6/10 – Qbics Paint
Video Review: Bulb Boy
Video Review: I and Me
But now that we have covered games that are out and available already (and already reviewed by myself), it is time to reveal the game I am most looking forwards to playing in August and surprise, surprise it’s Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle! How could it not be? It’s Mario and Rabbids and is just straight up bizarre as hell. But then it also looks fun as heck, engaging and definitely a game that I will have spent 36 hours playing before the month is over!

And now with the end of this edition almost within sight, it is time for me to pick 1 of the 10 games that made it onto my list this month, as a recommendation/must-own/get for Switch game and this month it is Namco Museum! I know the obvious choice would be Splatoon 2, but that’s precisely why I didn’t choose it. Splatoon 2 is a game virtually everyone who owns a Switch will buy anyway, so instead I am choosing a game that I feel Switch owners should buy. Namco Museum isn’t just another collection of old Namco arcade games, it’s a collection that was released for Switch and is just a delight to play! But yes, for the month of July, my Jacktendo Selects title is none other than Bandai Namco’s Namco Museum, because it really is a good collection of games for you to play with friends!

As always, thank you for joining me for yet another instalment and I hope you’ll do so again for the July instalment, so until then, keep on gaming and here’s an updated list of my Top 25 (out of 42 reviewed) Switch Games, of all Time:
