[Update] Fire Emblem Heroes Will Never be the Same again thanks to its new Version 1.2.0 Update

The highly anticipated Version 1.2.0 update for Fire Emblem Heroes has arrived and yes, it is an update that was the wait.

Not to say Fire Emblem Heroes wasn’t a good mobile representation, but the whole only having a Stamina bar that only fills up to 50 could be a bit tedious at times, but now we will no longer need to concern ourselves with that as Maximum Stamina. Then of course there’s all the other adjustments new features added as well. Things such adjustments made to EXP gain, swapping places at the beginning of battle, the addition of Sacred Seals and so much more.

But don’t worry, we’re not going to be vague and leave it like that, so here is the full notification from the game, which covers EVERYTHING the update entails:

And now that you know everything you could possibly need to about what the new update entails, it is time for you to download the update (or download the app even,) and allow yourself to experience the delights of Fire Emblem Heroes and all that it has to offer.

Regardless of what kind of device you use to play Super Mario Run (iOS or android,) if you’re finding the app to be a bit buggy, than head over to your designated store and hit update.

Super Mario Run has an all-new update out for both devices and it is all about bug fixes and it is next to nothing in size so you shouldn’t have to worry about deleting stuff off your phone just to get it. And now you can go back to squashing Gold Goombas in Super Mario Run’s World Tour.

[Update] Version 1.0.3 of the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls App Comes to Android Devices

Own an android device and have the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app? It’s time you headed over to the Google Play Store as an update is rolling out this very minute.

Although don’t let your expectations get the best of you. The new update is solely to implement bug fixes and in no way adds new features or gimmicks, which the app sorely needs. Still at least it being a mere patch means it’s small and quick and easy to download, so your trip to the Google Play Store won’t be tediously new.

[Random] 10 Million Android Downloads and Counting! (Super Mario Run)

Super Mario Run hasn’t even been available in the Google Play Store for even a week and already the free to download title has surpassed 10 million downloads (and now we know how many Mario fans with android devices, were left waiting for so long.)

However this does not mean the 10 million new players purchased the full title as many android users have taken a leaf out of iOS device owners book, and are constantly complaining about the $10 dollar price tag, but I have said it time and time again, Super Mario Run is worth the $10 dollar single payment, but at the end of the day, the decision rests with you, but way to go Super Mario Run! That’s another 10 million in the bag!

[Random] Pokémon GO’s Water Festival Event adds Shiny Magikarp & Gyarados

A little earlier today, a new event for Pokémon GO got underway, only it seems this event is more special than the previous ones.

According to reports and believe me, numerous ones are coming in, it seems Shiny Pokémon have finally made it into Pokémon GO. Granted it only seems limited to just Shiny Magikarp and Gyarados, but hey, at least it’s something, although nothing official has actually been said about this, so it will be interesting to see what Niantic do say when they start talking. [Event] Making Waves with Pokémon GO as the Water Festival Event Gets Underway

When you live in-land with no body of water in close proximity, it can be rather hard to encounter some Water-type Pokémon, only thanks to a new Pokémon GO event, all of that is about to change.

The event is the Water Festival, and because the likes of encountering Magikarp, Squirtle, Totadile and plenty of other Water-types, was hard enough already, now it’s not as all of them will be appearing more often and there’s also a new hat for your avatar to where as well. But because we don’t want to spoil what the hat is just yet, you can read about it here, as part of the official announcement. A new update for Pokémon GO is rolling out this very minute but don’t go getting your hopes up.

Here’s the announcement from Niantic: Continue reading [Update] Text Fixes and Random Evolution Items Make up Pokémon GO’s Latest Update

Super Mario Run’s New Characters Consists of Different Coloured Yoshis

Following the reveal of a new 2.0.0 update coming to Super Mario Run and the tease that additional information would follow, the first of the additional information has come and as well as revealing just who exactly the new characters are, it also gives us a release date and that date is the 23rd of March! So while android users get to experience the delights of Super Mario Run for the first time, iOS users get a reason to play it again!

[Update] Is Birdo Coming to Super Mario Run? New Characters are Teased for Huge Version 2.0.0 Update

Nintendo has just revealed that Super Mario Run is finally going to be available from the Google Play Store from the 23rd of March onwards, and now they’ve given us even more incredible news!

Revealed via an in-game notification on the iOS version of Super Mario Run, a huge update is one its way that will add new characters and introduce Bowser Challenges, (one of which that will allow players to “unlock World 1-4 in the free version of the game.”) But wait, there’s more!

Additional content is also teased as the notification specifically states that the two mentioned additions above (new characters and Bowser Challenges), is not everything and we can expect to hear more about what this version 2.0.0 update brings with it, in the coming days/weeks.

Why days/weeks? Well no release date has been given for the update and while it would be nice to see the update roll out the day the app does for android devices (as that would make a lot of sense, which is something I have said before during an Let’s Talk About Podcast here at Miketendo64), there is of course a possibility it could come out a few days or even a week later, but fingers crossed that won’t be the case.

No automatic alt text available.

But what about the new content itself? Having previously a possible version 2.0.0 update during the same Let’s Talk About above, I made a case that Birdo would be a great character to add to the game, since Birdo and Yoshi can of course work in a similar fashion, but it seems we’ll be getting more than one character, so maybe Princess Daisy or even Rosalina could be joining the party. Whoever it is though, just don’t go expecting any new Worlds to be added, as Nintendo have specifically stated they won’t do that, but maybe, just maybe, we’ll get to see a huge wave of new items hit the store and the max number of Toads we can hold expanded.

Just as soon as additional news and information on Super Mario Run’s 2.0.0 update arrives, you can expect to read all about it, right here at Miketendo64.
