[Gallery] Fire Emblem Warriors: New Combat Details

More details have emerged for Fire Emblem Warriors that give insight into new combat mechanics along with plenty of new screenshots, courtesy of the latest issue of Famitsu Magazine

The “Pair Up” system from Fire Emblem Awakening will be making a return and will allow you to pair up your fighter with an ally to do a joint attack. One character will be in front and the other will be behind.

Once you have two characters paired up, a “Dual Attack Gauge” and “Dual Guard Gauge” will appear on screen. Once the Dual Attack gauge is full, you will be able to break an enemy’s guard and Dual Guard will nullify enemy attacks once full.

The last combat mechanic to be mentioned is the “Dual Mystery Attack.” Once the Special  Gauge of both warriors is filled up, you can unleash a special combo technique upon your enemies. Footage of Marth & Lucina’s Mystery Attack can be seen in the short clip below.

And to finish off, we have some new screenshots of Hinoka, Takumi, Camilla & Leo as they appear in Fire Emblem Warriors.
