[Video] Wolfenstein II Has Wolfenstein 3D Minigame

There is a nice little easter egg that is included in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, you can actually play a demo of the classic 90’s shooter Wolfenstein 3D under the guise of Wolfstone 3D.” The game can be found in one of the arcade cabinets in Club Kreisau. It consists of six levels and a save game system. This version does have one noticeable difference, you are the Nazis fighting against the Kreisau terrorists.

It is a nice little touch and I am sure it will be appreciated by the Wolfenstein veterans and fans of the original alike. You can check out video of the Demo gameplay below.

[Video] Gamecube Controller Works On Switch After 4.0.0 Update

It has been discovered that the Gamecube controller is now compatible with the Nintendo Switch since the 4.0.0 update. Using the Gamecube controller adapter for Wii U, you can plug it into the USB ports of the Switch dock and then by going into the search controllers setting, you will be able to sync up the Gamecube controller. There is one setback to this, you can only use the controller whilst in docked mode but it does seem to work with most games.

The reason as to why the gamecube controller suddenly working with the Switch is not yet known but some people seem to think that we may be getting Gamecube games on Virtual Console for the system or maybe Super Smash Bros may be making it’s debut to the console sooner then we think. I have also tried to see if the Wii U Pro Controller will work with the console now as well but alas it is not to be. We have uploaded a video of the controller working on the Switch and what you need to do to set up yours.

Zelda Encyclopedia Deluxe Edition Goes Up For Pre-order On Amazon

Update: Now Available on Amazon UK & Amazon Germany as well. (courtesy of Nintendo Everything).

Amazon US & Amazon Canada has opened up Pre-orders for the Deluxe Edition of the Zelda Encyclopedia which launches April 24th next year. The main difference between the standard hardcover and the deluxe is the Deluxe edition is designed like the Gold Cartridge of the original Legend Of Zelda for the NES. It comes with a gold foil paper with gloss laminate and a gritty finish. It also includes embossed ridges much like the cartridge and is finished of with the Legend Of Zelda NES label and tucks away into a black cartridge sleeve with the Nintendo Logo printed on it.

That’s not all though as it even comes with it’s own instruction booklet which comes with theme appropriate material inside. I am torn between which version of the book I am going to get now. I was happy with going with the standard Hardcover to match in with the other two books I have, Hyrule Historia & Art & Artifacts, but that gold finish and beautiful design of the Deluxe edition may make me want to buy both. I think I may have to take out a second mortgage!
