Hello and welcome back to Jacktendo Selects, the monthly Miketendo64 feature where I go into my Top 6 Switch games of the month that just ended, talk about the game I’d happily recommend and the one I’m looking forward to this April!

To get things properly underway, having played them and reviewed them, here is my list of the Top 6 games that made it onto my list for March, in both photo and written form:

March 2018.jpg

8/10 (Recommended)Outlast: Bundle of Terror

8/10 (Recommended)Earthlock

8/10 (Recommended)Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse

8/10 (Recommended)Bleed 2

7/10 (Pleasant)TurtlePop: Journey to Freedom

7/10 (Pleasant)Penny-Punching Princess

I will admit, some of you who look at the above list, may feel the games should be listed differently, but at the end of the day, that which is above, is my list and my list alone and I am perfectly satisfied with it, as those games have given me plenty of joy last month! And you know what other game was a delight to play? Kirby Star Allies! I know it is something of a cop out to choose that game to be my Jacktendo Selects title for February, but I wasn’t the one who reviewed it and although it is a little too pricey for what it is, it did get a free update that added some new content and it is bucket loads of fun to play. Certainly my favourite Kirby game to date anyway.

As for the game I’m looking forward to the most, this April, while I could easily go with Nintendo Labo, as I do find the concept of the whole thing to be fascinating, I’m going to go with South Park: The Fractured But Whole. It has been longer than a decade since I last played a South Park game and I simply can’t wait for the opportunity to experience one on the Nintendo Switch. How about you?
