Hello and welcome back to Jacktendo Selects, the monthly Miketendo64 feature where I go into my Top 6 Switch games of the month that just ended, talk about the game I’d happily recommend and the one I’m looking forward to this May!
To get things properly underway, having played them and reviewed them, here is my list of the Top 6 games that made it onto my list for April, in both photo and written form:
9/10 (Recommended) – Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition
8/10 (Recommended) – South Park: The Fractured But Whole
8/10 (Recommended) – Gal*Gun 2
8/10 (Recommended) – Jotun: Valhalla Edition
7/10 (Pleasant) – Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut
7/10 (Pleasant) – Gal Metal
Now, if you’re wondering why and how Gal*Gun 2 made the cut, in fairness, I did find it to be an enjoyable title, which prompted me to write a review far long than most did and nowhere near as perverted. As for the rest of the games, South Park was always going to make it on the list, as was Shantae and Jotun as I am a huge fan of both, it was just a question of where they would place though.
As for the game I’m going to label as a Jacktendo Selects title, since I haven’t reviewed it yet, because I only got it yesterday, I’m picking Nintendo Labo. It may have taken me 6 hours to set up all the main builds, but I enjoyed the experience, the games are enjoyable and how things work, in the manner they do, is incredible. Not to mention the fact the game is so frigging informative thanks to easy to follow instructions and tutorials. Yeah, it’s cardboard, but cardboard is just the beginning and even as an adult, I can’t wait to see what more it has to offer me.
Moving on to the game I am looking forward to the most for this May, in an unexpected move, I just can’t wait for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition. I loved it on the Wii U, I purposefully brought a 3DS so I can play Legends and this month, I am going to play the hell out of it and you should too!
Once again, I would just like to thank you all for taking the time to check out another instalment of Jacktendo Selects. I hope you look forward to the next one and until then, here is a series of lists concerning my Top 10 games on Nintendo Switch, followed by my Top 10 games of 2017 and 2018:

Interesting Top 6!!! I mean to pick up Jotun at some point, but the other titles you mentioned don’t really interest me personally. Nice to have something for everybody though! #Breakforcist Battle is a personal fave at present, simple yet compelling! Also finally gotten around to beginning Sling Ming, definitely one of the more unusual control schemes I’ve ever used when playing a game but so far I’m really enjoying it!!!
Out of the 9 new games I played and reviewed during April, those were the ones I spent the most time with and enjoyed.
