Wow! Wow! Wow! Did we get a treat for the Nintendo Spotlight or what? Of course it was mostly teaser trailers but what the teaser trailers were will really please fans. Everything focused purely on the Nintendo Switch, the 3DS didn’t even get a look in but what we had was a delight indeed. Games we already knew were coming like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 & Fire Emblem Warriors, But the fact that Metroid Prime 4 is now in development and that Yoshi and Kirby will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in their own games was the icing on the cake. Eiji Aonuma was also present to talk about the DLC coming to Zelda and new amiibo in the form of the Champions, Mipha, Daruk, Revali & Urbosa. Super Mario Odyssey rounded off the Spotlight show the many kinds of worlds you can visit and the most unexpected of all, transformations into almost anything.
