Let’s be honest, if there’s one thing we gamers really love, it’s getting a new game, especially getting a new game at a great bargain. But it gets even better because the Humble Nindie Bundle is back only this time it’s the Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle and when you buy one of the games available, you’re also contributing to charity!
Before we even get to the games, what makes this bundle and last year’s one, which was only offered in North America? Well Humble Bundle offers a range of games at a huge discounted price. Games that do have a set price such as $1, $9.53 and $13 dollars can be brought at that price, or however more on top you are willing to spend, meaning you could be tight and pay the minimum required amount, or be gracious and pay more. What makes this whole thing even better is the fact that you can actually choose how much of your payment goes to Humble Bundle, the developers and the selected charity, SOS Children’s Villages and Code.org.
So what about the games themselves, well among the current line up are:
Pay $1 Dollar:
- Retro City Rampage: DX (3DS)
- Affordable Space Adventures (Wii U)
- Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse (Wii U & 3DS)
Pay $9.53 Dollars:
- Freedom Planet (Wii U)
- Rhythm Thief & The Emperor’s Treasure (3DS)
- Citizens of Earth (Wii U & 3DS)
- Retro City Rampage: DX 3DS HOME theme
Pay $13 Dollars:
- Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition (3DS)
- Darksiders II (Wii U)
These won’t be the only games as more titles will be added to the line-up, but in order to get these games you will need to go through the site, click the Pay what you Want button and begin the process of purchasing just which bundle you want. The Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle is available to those in Europe, Africa, Australia and both the Americas and can be purchased via credit card, Paypal, Bitcoin and even Amazon. After purchase you will receive codes you can redeem in the eShop to download your newly purchased titles.
Just bear in mind, time is ticking down so don’t delay and pay today! As I write this there have already been over 18,000 purchases and they are still climbing, with total payments currently totalling over $172.300.00 dollars. Oh and as for the new games that are on their way, they’ll come Tuesday the 3rd of May and provided you pay more than the average, ie $13 dollars or over, you’ll receive the codes for them too!
