Hello and welcome back to Jacktendo Selects, the monthly Miketendo64 feature where I go into my Top 6 Switch games of the month that just ended and talk about the game I’d happily recommend and the one I’m looking forwards to this November!
So to get things underway, having been played and reviewed, here is my list of the Top 6 games that made it onto my list this month both photo and written form:
9/10 – Super Mario Odyssey
9/10 – Fire Emblem Warriors
9/10 – Axiom Verge
8/10 – The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game
8/10 – Golf Story
8/10 – INVERSUS Deluxe
And now from the games that did make my list, it’s time to mention one that didn’t. So out of the many games I got to play and review last month, my Jactendo Selects title is none other than 88 Heroes: 98 Heroes Edition. It’s mental, it’s frustrating and it has a whole lot of playable characters (98 of them no less!) It’s also available physically, so while it is one of the Nintendo Switch’s dearer indie titles, it is a game you can give place of pride amongst all your other physically Switch titles.
As for the game I am looking forwards to for this month of November, with so many games to choose from, for me it is an easy one, for one game stands out clearly and it is DOOM! I remember the earlier games and I am well aware of how the newer ones handle and as long as the Switch version is half as good as it was when DOOM released in back in 2016, then greatness awaits, even if it is a big download if you go digital!
Once again, thank you all for taking the time to check out another instalment of Jacktendo Selects. I hope you look forwards to the next one and until then, here is a revised list of my Top 10 games on the Nintendo Switch of all-time and if you feel like it, you can list your Top 10 in the comments below:
