“Nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity.”
Odd way to start an article I’ll admit, but it is very fitting. Why? Well despite a great number of us loving the new The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, we didn’t bother to get a single amiibo pertaining to the game at the time of its releases, or in the weeks that followed. We failed to seize the opportunity and scalpers descended upon it like a pack of wolves going after an easy meal. They purchased what they could and are now reselling the amiibo at extortionate prices and while they may have won a few battles, the joke has finally come around on them and it is now our turn to laugh.
According to CPSIA listings, last week Nintendo has extended production of the Breath of the Wild Rider Link, Archer Link and Guardian amiibo, so that production would continue for another month, so it seems an essential restock of affordable amiibo, is on its way and that’s just fine with me, since it means I can correct my failed opportunity. Will you be doing the same? Let us know and we’ll let you know as soon as the restock is underway!
