The Game Awards 2016 have come and gone and Breath of the Wild knocked it out of the park.
Sure the new trailer shown during the pre-show wasn’t all that long, coming in at 1 minute and 26 seconds, but the trailer sure did show a lot. I’m talking towns, people, perhaps even Princess Zelda herself, and there was even new environments shown. In other words, so much content was shown, Zelda theorists will be able to spend the next 4 to 6 weeks uploading videos to YouTube, regarding new theories born from what was shown and even then that was just the pre-show stuff.

During the actual The Game Awards 2016 event, another Breath of the Wild clip was shown.  This time it came to us in the form of a much longer Let’s Play video that saw Bill Trinen and Nate Bihldorff try their hand at the game, which you can see for yourself right here and beneath it, we’ve included the new trailer as well:

But the best Breath of the Wild/The Game Awards 2016 news, is of course Zelda’s deserved victory as the title claimed the award for Most Anticipated Game, which it most certainly is!
