Ver. 1.9.0 (Released February 17, 2026):

The following updates have been made when playing the game on Nintendo Switch 2:

General:

  • Added Thai as a supported language. If you set the language to “Thai/English” in the Nintendo Switch 2 system, the text will become Thai.
    • The audio language does not support Thai, so if you select “Match System Settings” from the “Options” in the game, it will be in English.

Ver. 1.8.2 (Released July 3, 2025):

Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: Fixes related to ZELDA NOTES:

  • Fixed an issue in which the player was unable to use the Daily Bonus effects “Health Recovery” or “Hearty Meal” if they had increased their hearts to the maximum number.
  • Several other issues related to ZELDA NOTES have been addressed.

*The latest update data is required to play elements related to ZELDA NOTES.

General:

  • Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.

Ver. 1.8.1 (Released June 12, 2025):

General:

  • Portuguese (Brazil) text has been revised.
  • Several other issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.

Ver. 1.8.0 (Released June 3, 2025):

The following updates have been made when playing the game on Nintendo Switch 2:

General:

  • Added support for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
  • Added support for the Portuguese (Brazil) system language setting.
    • Because Portuguese is not a supported voice language, if you select the Match System Settings option in the game, the voice content will use English.
  • Several other issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.

Ver. 1.6.0 (Released April 25, 2019):

  • We have made the game compatible with the VR Goggles from Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit.
    • You can set whether you’d like to use the VR Goggles from VR Goggles in Options under System in the in-game menu.
    • This feature is also introduced on the Nintendo Labo website. (labo.nintendo.com/kits/vr-kit/)
  • We fixed some other issues so the player can enjoy the game.

Ver. 1.5.0 (Released January 31, 2018):

  • You can now select Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), or Korean in the language settings menu on the Switch console to display text in the selected language.
    • Voice Language selection is not supported for the above languages. If you choose Match System Settings in Options, voice data will be set to Japanese.
  • Various fixes to improve gameplay.

Ver. 1.4.0 (Released December 7, 2017):

  • Added support for DLC Pack 2, The Champions’ Ballad. Players who have pre-purchased this content can play it by updating the DLC and software.
  • Made various fixes to improve gameplay.

Ver. 1.3.4 (Released November 21, 2017):

  • Various fixes to improve gameplay.

Ver. 1.3.3 (Released November 8, 2017):

  • The amiibo of the four Champions (Revali, Daruk, Urbosa, and Mipha) are now supported.
  • The side quest to receive Xenoblade Chronicles 2 collaboration gear is now available.
  • An issue preventing the × mark for Game Overs from being recorded in Hero’s Path mode from Ver.1.3.0 onward has been fixed.
  • Various fixes to improve gameplay.

Ver. 1.3.1 (Released August 7, 2017):

  • We have fixed the issue in Pack 1: The Master Trials of the Expansion Pass, in which defeating certain enemies for Kilton was not counted toward completion when playing in Master Mode.
  • In-game items can now be obtained from launching the software from certain articles distributed through a new News channel (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Tips from the Wild) which can be accessed through News on the Home menu.
    • This channel became available on August 09, 2017.
    • Depending on your game progress and location, certain items may not be obtainable.
  • Various fixes to improve gameplay.

Ver. 1.3.0 (Released June 29, 2017):

  • Expansion Pass: DLC Pack 1 The Master Trials is now available. If you have already pre-purchased this content, you can now play it by updating both the DLC and the software. You can update your purchased DLC through Nintendo eShop.
  • Various fixes to improve gameplay.

Ver. 1.2.0 (Released May 1, 2017):

  • Various fixes to improve the gameplay experience.
  • A feature has been added that allows you to choose from nine language options for in-game voices. You can access this setting from the Options menu on the title screen.

      • Spanish (Spain)

      • Russian
