One of the reasons why people can’t have nice things is because some folks like to pick them apart. The same can be said for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Dataminers have taken it upon themselves to nose around the games code to see if they can find any data on the upcoming Smash Bros Ultimate DLC fighters that will be making their way to the game.
Now if you are reading this because you would like to know what information has been revealed, then by all means keep on reading. If not, I suggest you look away as the data is most likely considered “Spoilers.” Still with us? Okay then. Just to make sure that no one “accidentally” peeks at the coding found. We shall put a nice image below and then carry on from there.
Okay, so you are brave enough to want to know what was datamined, Well the following code was found to reference three fighters:
– fighter_kind_jack
– fighter_kind_brave
– fighter_kind_packu
There has already been speculation as to what each codename could be a reference to. Some believe that Packu could be a reference to the Piranha Plant as is known as the Packun Flower in Japan. Some believe that Jack could be a reference to the Demon from Shin Megami Tensei / Persona, known as Jack Frost. Brave could also be referencing the Dragon Quest Hero class “Yuusha” which means Brave in Japanese.
Ok so since the secret's out, here's confirmation. Params in Ultimate confirm the code names of 2 future characters, "jack" and "brave".
