A while back, images emerged of unused and unreleased outfits for Super Mario Odyssey. Now, thanks to YouTuber Mizumi with the help of GRAnimated, footage of the datamined outfits has now come to light. With the exception of the “Link” outfit, which was later patched out of the game, All the other outfits are showcased in this Super Mario Odyssey datamined outfits footage including the Broodals, Santa Mario, Zombie Mario and 8-bit Mario outfits.
The latter does look particularly weird as it doesn’t seem to have any transitional animation. The arms and legs do not change position at all and seems to move like one solid object as opposed to an actual being. You can see for yourself in the video below.
