Unused icons and file data point to a large wave of returning Pokémon for late-2026 DLC and preceding events.

A major datamine of Pokémon Pokopia game files, enabled by the recent availability of Nintendo Switch 2 ROM dumping tools, has revealed a substantial set of unused Pokémon icons and supporting data. Community researchers interpret these as strong indicators of content planned for Expansion Pass Part 2 (targeted for late 2026) along with limited-time events that may arrive beforehand.

The most consistent lists drawn from the in-game icon sheet and related assets include the following Pokémon that are not currently available in the base game or the Bubbly Basin (Part 1) DLC:

Supposed Leaked Roster for Expansion Pass DLC 2:

  • #0010 | Caterpie
  • #0011 | Metapod
  • #0012 | Butterfree
  • #0084 | Doduo
  • #0085 | Dodrio
  • #0209 | Snubbull
  • #0210 | Granbull
  • #0225 | Delibird
  • #0300 | Skitty
  • #0301 | Delcatty
  • #0387 | Turtwig
  • #0388 | Grotle
  • #0389 | Torterra
  • #0488 | Cresselia
  • #0548 | Petilil
  • #0549 | Lilligant
  • #0653 | Fennekin
  • #0654 | Braixen
  • #0655 | Delphox
  • #0684 | Swirlix
  • #0685 | Slurpuff
  • #0868 | Milcery
  • #0869 | Alcremie

Also frequently grouped with a possible pre-DLC event:

  • #0840 | Applin
  • #0841 | Flapple
  • #0842 | Appletun
  • #1011 | Dipplin
  • #1019 | Hydrapple

Some reports additionally suggest Delibird and Cresselia could tie into later holiday or New Year windows, and that Part 2 may introduce an Alcremie “character” role in the same vein as existing special Pokémon characters such as Tinkmaster or Smearguru.

These findings line up with earlier official teases that Part 2 would add further Pokémon (including previously shown names such as Snubbull, Skitty and Braixen) plus wearable accessories. Part 3 remains scheduled for 2027 and is expected to bring a new town.

Beyond the roster, broader file reconstruction work (notably by Pokéos) has extracted extensive internal data already present in the current game: all 257 habitats with images, building requirements and spawn conditions; more than 1,500 items with icons, recipes and values; full preference data for every Pokémon; expanded Human Records documents (including newly accessible Bubbly Basin material and previously incomplete story pages); and a complete icon/asset archive.

Editor’s Note: Everything above originates from community datamines of dumped files. Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have not confirmed the roster, event timing or exact implementation. Icon presence has historically been a reliable signal in Pokémon titles, but it remains unconfirmed until an official reveal. Treat the lists as provisional.
