Legendary have been trying for a while now to form a deal with The Pokémon Company, to get the movie rights to Pokémon and all their patience paid off because now they’ve got them.

Set to begin filming next year, will be the live action Detective Pikachu movie, which will be distributed by Toho in Japan, but overseas release will be handled by Universal Pictures, but sadly other than that, this is literally all we have at this moment, as no other detail has been shared just yet. So until they do, for now the story ends here, but how do you feel about this decision? Is Detective Pikachu the first film they should begin with or do you feel they should have picked something else instead?
