For those of you who detested Tri Force Heroes, by the sound of things, Aonuma would actually love to make another Multiplayer Zelda game, but feature a few of the things he learned from Breath of the Wild.

Before anyone starts rolling their eyes though, I am all for this as I actually didn’t mind 2015’s Zelda instalment, sure the story wasn’t the greatest story, but it was the first Zelda title, other than the non-canon Hyrule Warriors that enabled Zelda fans to play together, and now after speaking with IGN, it turns out Aonuma would actually like to do another Zelda multiplayer.

“I would like to take what I learned from Breath of the Wild and see if we can somehow fuse those learning points into another multiplayer Zelda. For example, with Triforce Heroes, which followed a similar format of Four Swords, there was a multiplayer involved in that game. That’s definitely a possibility and we will continue to [experiment] throughout the Zelda franchise.”

For me, as a Zelda fan hearing that, it’s a must have game for me. I would love to see a Zelda multiplayer game that takes inspiration from the single-player  Breath in the Wild, it would make for the ultimate 3DS multiplayer game and something I would love to see come out in the next three years. How about you?
