An event of cosmic proportions.
With Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 releasing on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 back in October, an event is now underway in Super Mario Run, to celebrate the occasion. Featuring nine prizes and a total of 27 missions, this is one collaboration event you won’t want to miss out on. For the full details, we have them here:

Journey through space in two Super Mario adventures in the Super Mario Galaxy™ + Super Mario Galaxy™ 2 game, now improved for the Nintendo Switch ™ system!
Travel the cosmos with Mario in these two classic games -now with enhanced resolution, improved Ul, and additional content on Nintendo Switch!
Save the galaxy from Bowser and his minions in the original planet-hopping adventure — Bowser has attacked the Star Festival, abducted Princess Peach, and put the whole galaxy in danger! Join up with Rosalina and the Lumas, protectors of the cosmos, to restore the Comet Observatory and rescue the princess in the Super Mario Galaxy™ game.
Travel aboard Starship Mario to save the galaxy again…this time with Yoshi’s help! — Bowser is at it again, but this time Mario has a little extra help in recovering the Power Stars. Join Lubba aboard Starship Mario for the duration of your journey, and team up with Yoshi to enhance your planet-hopping moves in the Super Mario Galaxy™ 2 game. With Yoshi by your side, you can jump higher and further —and you can even attack foes using his tongue!
Transform both Mario and Yoshi — Use power-ups like the Bee Mushroom to fly, the Boo Mushroom to float and move through certain types of barriers, and more on your journey to reclaim the Power Stars! Yoshi has his own power-ups too, like the Dash Pepper and the Blimp Fruit, which allow him to sprint super quickly, float Mario high into the air, and more.
It’s easier Play on Nintendo Switch — Use button, stick, and motion controls – adapted to the Joy-Con™ controllers from the original Wii™ versions—to jump, glide, swing, and more as you collect Power Stars and power-ups. Learn more about the Lumas from additional Storybook chapters, and groove to all the game’s music, including a few additional tracks, in soundtrack mode. You can also give yourself additional Health and fall recovery with Assist Mode and use compatible amiibo ™ figures for a little extra help in your adventure. The galaxy awaits!
Two-player co-op is available too — You can play with friends and family by sharing a Joy-Con controller. Player 2 can lend player 1 a helping hand by stopping enemies in their tracks and by collecting items.
To celebrate the release of Super Mario Galaxy™ + Super Mario Galaxy™ 2, we’ll be holding an event in the Super Mario Run ™ game! (Period available: November 27, 2025 07:00 to January 22, 2026 07:00)
You can clear the missions during the event period to get in-game statues of Mario and Rosalina, who appear in Super Mario Galaxy™ + Super Mario Galaxy™ 2. There will be three mission sheets for this event. Clearing the challenging Bowser’s Plot missions can get you gold versions of the statues!
Mario’s Galaxy-Hopping Adventure Missions:
- Complete three missions: Coins x 500
- Complete six missions: Raily Tickets x 10
- Complete nine missions: Bee Mario Statue Statue
Adventure across the galaxies with Yoshi Missions:
- Complete three missions: Raily Tickets x 15
- Complete six missions: Rosalina & Luma Statue
- Complete nine missions: Mario & Blimp Statue
Bowser’s Plot Missions:
- Complete three missions: Gold Bee Mario Statue
- Complete six missions: Gold Rosalina & Luma Statue
- Complete nine missions: Gold Mario & Blimp Statue
You can check the mission objectives and how much progress you’ve made toward completing them by tapping the mission icon in the top-right area of your kingdom. If you get these special Super Mario Galaxy™ + Super Mario Galaxy™ 2 statues, you can decorate your kingdom with them!
Note: Some missions require access to courses that cannot be played without a purchase.
Note: During the event, one course each day will be available to play free of charge. The courses that are available are selected from 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 5-1, 5-2, and 5-3.
Note: Linking your Nintendo Account will unlock an additional stage. This stage is selected from 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 5-1, 5-2, 5-3.

- Mission 1: Visit your kingdom.
- Mission 2: World 1-1 – Defeat 14 or more Goombas.
- Mission 3: World 1-2 – Clear with 45 or more left on the timer.
- Mission 4: World 1-3 – Defeat 13 or more Goombas.
- Mission 5: World 1-4 – Clear with 100 or more coins.
- Mission 6: World Tour and Toad Rally – Collect 1000 coins.
- Mission 7: World Tour – Defeat 50 Goombas.
- Mission 8: Toad Rally – Win 2 times.
- Mission 9: Remix 10 – Collect 20 medals in a single round.
Adventure across the galaxies with Yoshi Missions:
- Mission 1: World 1-1 – Clear with 140 or more coins.
- Mission 2: World 1-2 – Deafeat 17 or more Goombas.
- Mission 3: World 2-1 – Clear with 5 Pink Coins and 170 or more coins.
- Mission 4: World 3-1 – Clear with 220 or more coins
- Mission 5: World 4-1 – Clear with 55 or more left on the timer.
- Mission 6: World 5-2 – Clear with 200 or more coins.
- Mission 7: World Tour and Toad Rally – Collect 2000 coins.
- Mission 8: Toad Rally – Play 1 times.

- Mission 1: World 1-3 – Clear with 5 Purple Coins and 160 or more Coins

About Super Mario Run:
A new kind of Mario game that you can play with one hand — You control Mario by tapping as he constantly runs forward. You time your taps to pull off stylish jumps, midair spins, and wall jumps to gather coins and reach the goal!
Super Mario Run can be downloaded for free and after you purchase the game, you will be able to play all the modes with no additional payment required. You can try out all four modes before purchase: World Tour, Toad Rally, Remix 10, and Kingdom Builder.
- World Tour – Run and jump with style to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser’s clutches!
- Travel through plains, caverns, ghost houses, airships, castles, and more.
- Clear the 24 exciting courses to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser, waiting in his castle at the end. There are many ways to enjoy the courses, such as collecting the 3 different types of colored coins or by competing for the highest score against your friends. You can try courses 1-1 to 1-4 for free.
- After rescuing Princess Peach, a nine-course special world, World Star, will appear.
- Remix 10 – Some of the shortest Super Mario Run courses you’ll ever play!
- This mode is Super Mario Run in bite-sized bursts! You’ll play through 10 short courses one after the other, with the courses changing each time you play. Daisy is lost somewhere in Remix 10, so try to clear as many courses as you can to find her!
- Toad Rally – Show off Mario’s stylish moves, compete against your friends, and challenge people from all over the world.
- In this challenge mode, the competition differs each time you play.
- Compete against the stylish moves of other players for the highest score as you gather coins and get cheered on by a crowd of Toads. Fill the gauge with stylish moves to enter Coin Rush Mode to get more coins. If you win the rally, the cheering Toads will come live in your kingdom, and your kingdom will grow.
- Kingdom Builder – Gather coins and Toads to build your very own kingdom.
- Combine different buildings and decorations to create your own unique kingdom. There are over 100 kinds of items in Kingdom Builder mode. If you get more Toads in Toad Rally, the number of buildings and decorations available will increase. With the help of the friendly Toads you can gradually build up your kingdom.
What You Can Do After Purchasing All Worlds:
- All courses in World Tour are playable – Why not try out the bigger challenges and thrills available in all courses?
- Easier to get Rally Tickets – It’s easier to get Rally Tickets that are needed to play Remix 10 and Toad Rally. You can collect them in Kingdom Builder through Bonus Game Houses and ? Blocks, by collecting colored coins in World Tour, and more.
- More playable characters – If you rescue Princess Peach by completing course 6-4 and build homes for Luigi, Yoshi, and Toadette in Kingdom Builder mode, you can get them to join your adventures as playable characters. They play differently than Mario, so why not put their special characteristics to good use in World Tour and Toad Rally?
- More courses in Toad Rally – The types of courses available in Toad Rally will increase to seven different types of courses, expanding the fun! Along with the new additions, Purple and Yellow Toads may also come to cheer for you.
- More buildings and decorations in Kingdom Builder – The types of buildings available will increase, so you’ll be able to make your kingdom even more lively. You can also place Rainbow Bridges to expand your kingdom.
- Play Remix 10 without having to wait – You can play Remix 10 continuously, without having to wait between each game.
