Two steps forward and one step back.

When attempting to lose weight, every little thing you do matters. Be it walking up a flight of stairs a couple more times in a single day, or even walking a whole mile more and this week, I did none of that.

Due to a very busy seven days, I have had very little time to actually sink into Fitness Boxing and as far as my scales are concerned, it shows. Despite working the same long hours as the previous weeks, almost every time I came home this week, I was even more shattered and in no mood to play video games in general.

I always had my sister’s birthday, complete with dinner and dessert on Saturday and tomorrow is my mum’s birthday, which comes with the promise of another delicious cake baked by my sister.

So, having gained a kilo, again, I think it’s safe to say that the last week is a right-off. It didn’t go as planned, negative results were achieved and it’s the way it goes sometimes. Having said that though, I do believe the next seven days will tell a similar story, especially since I now have family visiting in the form of grandparents.

There’s no changing what has come to pass though, so let’s skip right on to the stats and call it done for today. Family commitments and all that.
