It seems that Niantic has been working on bringing Generation III Pocket Monsters to Pokémon GO. A new update is in the works that some fans have found data for 135 Pokémon in the APK metadata.

This doesn’t meant that they will be coming right away, as Gen II Pokémon took their time to emerge after news broke out that they were in bound and even then, they were introduced in drips and drabs so we could see a similar pattern happening here.

A new item was also found in the files and points towards a “Super Incubator”, it is apparently purple in colour but it is not known what kind of effect it will have on eggs, whether it will hatch them quicker or hold more than one egg, nor whether it is a purchasable item or reward.
