The second Grand Hero event is now underway and this time instead of an axe-wielding, Wyvern riding Narcian, we have to face the Mistress of Magic, and female protagonist of Fire Emblem Awakening, Robin in battle.

Just like before, the Grand Hero’s Battle can be found in Special Maps and has special rules for players to abide by. The rules being should a player lose a single unit, it is an instant game over as Light’s Blessing and Orbs can not be used to revive your team. So yet again we have both a Normal mode and a Hard mode level that requires our very best effort if we wish to claim both version of Female Robin.

The Grand Hero Battles lasts from today (the 23rd of February,) until 07:59 a.m. UTC+1 on the 27th of February and for players who beat Normal Mode (costs 10 Stamina per try,) they can earn themselves a 2 Robin, whereas beating her on hard (along with all her friends, which costs 15 Stamina per try) will give you a 3 Robin.

And since Miketendo64 is not the kind of site that likes to skimp on details, here’s a regurgitation of the official information on Grand Hero Battles:

What are Grand Hero Battles?:

“These are special extremely challenging Hero Battles. By clearing the map you will gain the enemy Hero as your ally. As with other Hero Battles, if any of your allies fall in battle, it’s game over, so proceed with caution.

Grand Hero Battles also have a special rule: you cannot use a Light’s Blessing or an Orb to continue a battle if you lose, so make your moves on the field very carefully!

Look for golden banners to attempt Grand Hero Battles. Clear one on Normal to get a 2Robin. Clear one on Hard to get a 3Robin. Just make sure you’re fully prepared before you go into these battles!”

And just in case after reading all of the above, you are wondering if Female Robin is a character worth getting, adding to your team and leaving up, here is her Fire Emblem Heroes write-up, complete with the skills she can learn at Level 5:

Robin: Mystery Tactician:

“A tactician of Ylisse and Chrom’s close ally. Lost memory of her life before meeting Chrom. Appears in Fire Emblem Awakening”

I hope you found all this information useful and have great success at trying your hand at this special event! Robin awaits, as does a bunch of new banner of Heroes to summon entitled: Focus: Battling Robin, which you can see a quick photo of below, complete with the list of the available 5Focus Heroes.

Good luck getting one of them!
