The Pokémon Company have taken their sweet time with this, but as Gen 2 comes to Pokémon GO, a touch of Gen 7 is coming to Pokémon Shuffle.
According to Serebii, all three Alola region starters are coming to Shuffle and they will be joined by Charjabug, Cutiefly Bewear, Alolan Meowth and the lovable Rockruff. If there was ever a reason to get into Pokémon Shuffle, this is it.

I like it that some Alolan Pokemon are coming in Pokemon Shuffle but I want ALL the Alolan Pokemon in Pokemon Shuffle.
