After the announcement video for the Nintendo Switch, it was revealed that EA will be supporting Nintendo’s next gen console. They have sinced teased that they will be bringing one of their “bigger” games to the console but have not specified which. A few of us at the Miketendo64 team have hoped that it may be Mass Effect Andromeda, We know that EA have no plans to bring it to the Nintendo Switch anytime soon but they haven’t ruled it out completely so it does leave room to hope and let’s face it, what’s bigger than Mass Effect? Here is what EA CFO Blake Jorgensen had to say at the UBS Global Technology Conference:

“In terms of Nintendo, in their announcement they announced that we’ll be supporting with a game or two on that new platform. We haven’t yet announced what game, but you should assume that it’s one of our bigger games we’ve been involved with.”

He also spoke more generally about the Switch stating:

“We’re excited for Nintendo, it’s an interesting device, but I can’t yet predict how broad it’s going to be, and will people be interested in a portable device alongside their regular portable device that they have.”
