For a while now, a lot of us have been eagerly awaiting some Smash news, specifically Smash news relating to the Cloud, Corrin and Bayonetta amiibos, which were revealed last year and never mentioned again. Instead the Smash news we get is this, there will be no more Regular Tournaments!

Come the 30th of September, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U’s Tournament Mode will no longer be accessible clicking on it, will have you presented with a “blank area.” Nintendo apologise to all those who are saddened by this news but reminds is that users will still be able to set up their own tournaments. (Every cloud has a silver lining.)

Having not really played much of Smash for Wii U, this loss doesn’t really affect me too much, but for those of you who will feel it, why not grace us with memories of tournaments you recently participated in? We love to hear from you!
