With today being the 6th of May, Pokémon fans in North America have just two more days to grab their very own Zygarde via the Nintendo Network before the ground/dragon type Pokémon slithers on out the door.
He is real easy to get, all you have to do is turn on your handheld, put in a cartridge pertaining to one of the Pokémon ORAS or X&Y games and load up the game. From the main menu, go Mystery Gift, Receive Gift, Get Via Internet and click Yes to accept when it asks you. Zygarde comes at Lv.100 and is just the first instalment of special three part distribution taking place this month. Come the 11th of May, users will then be able to get a Shiny Xerneas via the Nintendo Network. But you will have to be quick, because Xerneas will only be around until the 17th before come the 20th of May, Shiny Yveltal, aka bacon, will become available via the Nintendo Network.
Shiny Yvetal will also only be available for a limited time, so if you don’t get him by the 26th of May, (final day of distribution,) you’ll have missed your chance entirely. It is uncertain if this giveaway will be happening anywhere else as of this moment and with the Zygarde distribution continuing to the 26th of May for those in Europe, it is highly doubtful you’ll be able to grab the Legendary Pokémon from X&Y. However the Zygarde distribution was originally meant to be just for Europe, and yet on the day it started, everyone from all over was able to grab it, so although Xerneas and Yveltal are only known to be available in North America, we encourage everyone to try and should it work for you, be sure to get in touch and let us know in which region/country you got yours.
This is also the month where Darkrai is being distributed worldwide as part of the continuing Mythical Pokémon distribution, so if you haven’t picked up yours yet, you only have until the 24th and for those in Europe, you will have to take your 3DS’ with you and sign in to the Nintendo Zone to get your code. And considering as we’re doing the whole reminder thing, those who did sign up for the Pokémon Trainers Club Newsletter back in April, emails have been sent out to those in Europe and North America, containing serial codes that can be used to download Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. There has been no mention how long these codes are valid for, so if you haven’t got round to seeing the email or using the codes yet, you might want to go check now/use those codes at your next convenience.
I don’t know about catching them all, but we certainly hope you are able to get all seven of these!
