With Gen 7 and Pokémon Z still eluding us, us here at Miketendo64 have a Pokémon series for all of you Super Mario Maker gamers. So get ready to turn your baseball cap around because our series comes with badges!
In our currently 20 episodes long series, you will be able to choose your starter, catch Pokémon that have been Mushroom Kingdom-fied and you’ll also be able to take on a Gym or 2. Well we say 2, we currently have 4 that you can currently challenge and a Brawler’s Club for you to check out. But why tell you about it myself, when Professor Shroom, our resident Mushroom Kingdom Pokémon Professor can give you the low-down for me?
“Greetings, I am Professor Shroom and due to a bizarre invasion the world of Pokémon now involves the Mushroom Kingdom, which is where I come in. I am the Pokémon Professor, a Toad tasked with the duty to study and document every discoverable Pokémon, in their retrospective Mario styled forms that this region has to offer.
With new Pokémon being discovered daily, there is no way of knowing just how many have crossed over, which is where you come in. I am not as young as I used to be and this task asks too much of just one Toad, so I require the assistance of a young trainer, raring to go and willing to undergo a great quest to identify them all. Will you be that Trainer?”
Not only will our Pokémon Professor tell you about the ways of the Super Mario Maker Mushroom Kingdom but he’ll also show you round his laboratory in Episode 1, he’ll introduce you to Pokémon and show you how to catch them and if you prove your worth to him over the series, he’ll even show you how to catch them.
With every episode, more and more gets added to the series and although Episode 20 did mark the end of our second season, the third is on its way and if you’re wondering just what kind of Pokémon will be appearing in the series, well check out the list below for some spoilers.
