I do apologize for the long title, folks, but quite a bit of Splatoon 3 News has dropped recently, so let’s get straight into it. For starters, Nintendo has revealed that new amiibo are on the way in form of the Deep Cut crew; Shiver, Frye, and Big Man. Much like with previous Splatoon amiibo, these will unlock exclusive gear and will allow you to take in-game photos with them. These amiibo will be available come November 17th and may be distributed individually or in a three-pack depending on your region.

Next up, Splatoon 3’s next season will be starting on September 1st and is approximately named ‘Drizzle Season’. It will bring even more weapons, new stages, and a popular Salmon Run stage will make a return.

Last but not least, while we may have just recovered from the last Splatfest with Team Money taking the victory over Team Love and Team Fame, Nintendo has already announced the next Splatfest coming next month and revealed its theme. To celebrate the one year anniversary of Splatoon 3, the next Splatfest will be held from September 9th until September 11th and will have players choose who is their favourite Deep Cut member. Will Team Frye finally score a victory? Will Team Shiver dominate the opposition? Or will Team Big Man step up to the plate and represent?

Do any of these announcements interest you? Which one did you find the most interesting? Please let us know in the comments.
