The producer of The Legend of Zelda series, Eiji Aonuma, has issued an update on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel. The game has been delayed until 2023.

The reason for the delay according to Aonuma, is to extend the development time for the game. A new release window for the Breath of the Wild sequel is now Spring 2023.
