During the Nintendo Direct for February 2022, we got a pretty good look at a new Mario Strikers Game, Mario Strikers: Battle League. The game features pretty intense gameplay of 5-a-side football with up to four human players per team and a CPU goalkeeper. Up to eight players can play on a single Switch system and online play is also supported.
Following the announcement, Nintendo has shared some screenshots and artwork for the game on their press site. The official box art for the physical game was included as well. We have rounded up all these images and put them into a gallery so you can view them at your own leisure. Just click on any image below to enlarge it.
About Mario Strikers: Battle League:
Prepare for Strike, a five-on-five soccer-like sport with no rules – do whatever it takes to win! In this game, you can tackle, use items and activate special shots. Up to eight players – four players on each team – can compete against each other on one Nintendo Switch system.
In addition to individual matches, online* play will let 20 players join up and compete to become the world’s top club. The main rule in this sport is to rule the field! Mario Strikers: Battle League launches for Nintendo Switch on June 10. Pre-orders begin today in Nintendo eShop.
