[Guide] Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Korok Seeds

Just in case finding Koroks in the Chapter Missions in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity isn’t bad enough, doing so is not the only means of obtaining the all-important Korok Seeds that can be used for useful upgrades and more inventory space. As it turns out, clearing certain main story missions and challenge maps can also reward players with Korok Seeds, so here’s a Work In Progress guide dedicated to the missions where Korok Seeds can be earned as a reward and what you can use them for.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Korok Seeds: (First-Clear Rewards)

Clear Chapter 3 – Freeing Korok Forest for the first time on any difficulty to earn 3 Korok Seeds.

Clear the Hestu’s Training Challenge for the first time on any difficulty to earn 3 Korok Seeds.

Clear the Escape the Lost Woods Challenge for the first time on any difficulty to earn 5 Korok Seeds.

Clear the Forest Dance Festival Challenge for the first time on any difficulty to earn 5 Korok Seeds.

Supply the required materials for the Helping with Heights Quest to earn the rewards: Hetsu: +2 Bonus Hearts and 15 Korok Seeds.

Clear the Hold the Line Challenge for the first time on any difficulty to earn 5 Korok Seeds.

Clear the Hunting Partners Challenge for the first time on any difficulty to earn 5 Korok Seeds.

By completing the first story mission of Chapter 3, players can gain access to a new fighter with new quests and challenges becoming available. By clearing Quests associated to this new fighter, which requires Korok Seeds and other materials. We have begun documenting the quests that ask for Korok Seeds and their associated rewards below:

Chapter 3 Quest: Frown-Reversal Magic

Requirements: Korok Seed x1, Bokoblin Trophy x100,

Reward: Hestu: Bonus Combo

Chapter 3 Quest: Good Cheer

Requirements: Korok Seed x5, Rushroom x10, Raw Bird Drumstick x10, Wildberry x20, Bokoblin Trophy x200

Reward: Weapon Capacity x2

Chapter 4 Quest: A Most Peculiar Korok

Requirements: Summerwing Butterfly x5, Thunderwing Butterfly x5, Winterwing Butterfly x5, Smotherwing Butterfly x5, Korok Seed x5

Reward: See Korok Details in Battle Info

Chapter 4 Quest: It’s Shakala Time

Requirements: Korok Seed x9, Bokoblin Trophy x300, Lizalfos Trophy x200, Hinox Trophy x1

Reward: Hestu: Special-Attack Gauge +1

Chapter 5 Quest: Parade for the Champions

Requirements: Korok Seed x8, Silent Princess x5, Electric Saffina x5, Fortified Pumpkin x5, Moblin Trophy x10

Reward: Weapon Capacity +3

Chapter 6 Quest: The Sweetest Salsa

Requirements: Korok Seed x24, Swift Violet x25, Swift Carrot x25, Rushroom x25, Moblin Trophy x10

Reward: Weapon Capacity +2

Chapter 6 Quest: Birthday Waltz

Requirements: Korok Seed x15, Wildberry x30, Bird Egg x15, Voltfruit x10, Hinox Trophy x2

Reward: Weapon Capacity +2

Chapter 6 Quest: It Takes Two

Requirements: Korok Seed x20, Restless Cricket x30, Staminoka Bass x30, Courser Bee Honey x30, Lizalfos Trophy x150

Reward: Increased Rod Uses by One

Chapter 7 Quest: Forest Minuet

Requirements: Korok Seed x13, Acorn x30, Chickaloo Tree Nut x30, Bokoblin Trophy x200, Lizalfos Trophy x50

Reward: Weapon Capacity +3

Chapter 7 Quest: Fantastic Flamenco

Requirements: Korok Seed x35, Hearty Radish x35, Hearty Truffle x35, Moblin Horn x40, Lynel Trophy x3

Reward: Weapon Capacity +4 and Increased Apple Capacity by One
