With Nintendo already highlighting their plans for E3 and a Nintendo Direct confirmed for it, it was believed that they would hold tight and just want for any news until June’s conference. Which is why it has taken us by surprise that Nintendo of America has announced that there will be a new Nintendo Direct tomorrow. Scheduled for 6:00 PM ET, the Direct will be focused completely on Super Mario Maker 2.

The announcement of this Nintendo Direct opens up the possibility of June’s E3 Direct to have its main focus on a different game because it was initially believed that Super Mario Maker 2 would be Nintendo’s focus for the conference.
