The Nintendo Switch has recieved a new update in the form of Nintendo Switch 6.1.0. Alongside the usual “Improvements to System Stability” to enhance use experience, the update also fixes an issue regarding Nintendo Switch Online. The issue in question is that certain games fail to recognize owners having a Nintendo Switch Online membership shortly after the purchase of said title. The new update now fixes this problem.
Version 6.1.0 also comes with an update for Joy-Cons as well. It has not been specified what the update is for though it is probably likely that it is just to maintain compatibility of the Joy-Cons working with the updated Switch hardware.
As Usual, you can manually update your Switch by going to System Settings>System>System Update.
