*UPDATE (30/08/18): GameStop also currently lists Diablo III: Eternal Collection as having a December 21, 2018 release date.

It’s pinch that salt time, as an image has appeared online, which seemingly states that Diablo III: Eternal Collection, will, in fact, launch on the Nintendo Switch, just four days before Christmas.
The image, which you can see above, previously appeared on reddit, only to the have the image removed, before resurfacing a few days later on Twitter and then have the tweet that showed it off, was also deleted.
Given the December 21, 2018 date in question, it could very well be a placeholder date, since the game is supposed to launch “Fall 2018.” However, provided it is genuine, the image does specifically state December 21, 2018.
Due to how sketchy all this is, by all means, disbelieve the image outright, but we are attempting to look into it and will hopefully have something to share sometime soon.
