Gamescom Award 2018

Gamescom 2018 is officially in full swing and the opening ceremony has finished. To really get the ball rolling, the winners of the Gamescom Awards 2018 have been announced and Nintendo managed to snag only two awards out of the 16 categories, and even one of those was for it’s own plaform. As you may have guessed, Super Smash Bros Ultimate did pick up one of the awards but in Nintendo’s own category for Best Game On A Nintendo Platform. Perhaps most surprising is that Super Mario Party was the other game to win an award for Best Family Game. Could it be that Super Mario Party is a return to form of the days when people revered the series?
