Rocket League Update 1.0.6

If any of you have been holding off buying Rocket League for Nintendo switch because you want to get the physical version as opposed to the digital version that is already available on the Nintendo Switch eShop, you will be very pleased to know that the Rocket League Collector’s Edition for Nintendo Switch will be arriving January 2018.

The US will see it release on January 16 whereas the release date for other regions are as follows;

Australia & New Zealand will release on 24th Jan

Thurs 25th January: GAS, FRANCE, BENELUX, ITALY

Friday 26th January: UK, NORDICS, Licensees, SPAIN – Licensee territories include: Balkans, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Cyprus, Israel, Turkey, Middle East, South Africa, Romania, Bulgaria & Russia

It will be priced at around €39.99 / £34.99 and will include the following content, including DLC.

  1. Rocket League Full Game

  2. Supersonic Fury DLC Pack

  3. Revenge of the Battle-Cars DLC Pack

  4. Chaos Run DLC Pack

  5. Aftershock DLC Car

  6. Marauder DLC Car

  7. Esper DLC Car

  8. Masamune DLC Car

  9. Customization Items inspired by DC Comics’ The Flash

  10. Limited Art Print by Psyonix Concept Artist, Jay Zhang

If you think that the price seems a bit steep, the DLC alone can cost around €1.99 – €2.99 each and of course, the price of the cartridge makes it more expensive as well but at least with all the DLC, it helps numb the sting a bit.
