When Nintendo’s freshest IP released, not even they expected it to be as popular as it, and then they seized the moment.
Splatoon was gaining in momentum and Nintendo helped it reach the stars, via sweets, Squid Sister performances, merchandise and some good old tournaments and now they’re doing a book! Being published by Dark Horse Comics, next year North America will see the release of “The Art of Splatoon.” The “Art Book with Splattitude” is said to contain 320 inkredible pages packed with artwork, 2D & 3D illustrations of various characters, maps, concept art, weapons, sketches, storyboards, gear design and even hand-drawn comics and “and that’s only an inkling of what’s inside.”
