For lovers of the Darksiders series, regardless of you having played this before, the game is certainly worth replaying again, but if you still own the original version, there isn’t much need for you to rush out and buy this version on the day it releases. If you’ve never played it though, then you might want to consider giving it a try and if you are someone who has just never played a Darksiders game at all, or even have a clue what this particular game is about, then this paragraph is for you:
“Deceived by the forces of evil into prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War – the first Horseman of the Apocalypse – stands accused of breaking the sacred law by inciting a war between Heaven and Hell. In the slaughter that ensued, the demonic forces defeated the heavenly hosts and laid claim to the Earth. Brought before the sacred Charred Council, War is indicted for his crimes and stripped of his powers. Dishonored and facing his own death, War is given the opportunity to return to Earth to search for the truth and punish those responsible. Hunted by a vengeful group of Angels, War must take on the forces of Hell, forge uneasy alliances with the very demons he hunts, and journey across the ravaged remains of the Earth on his quest for vengeance and vindication.”
Now if that doesn’t make you want to play the game, then the Darksiders series is clearly not for you and that’s okay. There are plenty of other games out there that are better suited to your tastes as a gamer, but for those of you who do want this game in your life, we will be providing updates for this game as and when they come, so be sure to check back for that from time to time.

I’m beginning to wonder if there’s ever going to be a third game in the franchise…
