Pikmin 3 Deluxe Receives Free Update For Nintendo Switch 2

Completely out of the blue, Nintendo has announced a free update for Pikmin 3 Deluxe. The update is for when playing the game on Nintendo Switch 2 and includes improved visuals for the Switch 2 display and high- resolution TVs. GameShare support has also been added so that the 2-Player Bingo Battle Mode can now be played locally or online with the GameChat function.

I do appreciate Nintendo still making an effort to update their older games from time to time, so that they can make the most of the latest hardware. The newly added GameChat GameShare is certainly most welcome in my eyes as being able to play games online with folks who don’t own a particular game is a great opportunity to get them to try it out. With Pikmin 3 Deluxe getting the free Nintendo Switch 2 Edition update, it would be interesting to see what else gets a feature upgrade from the Big N.
