On February 12, 2026, Nintendo began a new distribution of Mario Tennis Fever icons, now available with Nintendo Switch Online. The new distribution will run until March 12, 2026, with new waves arriving weekly, every Thursday, from February 12, 2026. Wave 1 is available now until February 19, 2026, at 00:59 UTC and consists of the following:
- 13 Characters (10 Platinum Points each)
- Of the 13 Characters, all 13 are NEW
- 5 Backgrounds (5 Platinum Points each)
- Of the 5 Backgrounds, all 5 are NEW
- 10 Frames (5 Platinum Points each)
- Of the 10 Backgrounds, all 10 are NEW
