Pokémon Pokopia

“If you build it, they will come.”

New to Pokémon Pokopia or having trouble finding a particular crafting material? In this quick guide, we’ll tell you what material is needed to create what and which Pokémon are up for the task. Please bear in mind that while we have avoided story spoilers, some materials are only available later on in the game, after reaching certain areas. With that said, we hope you will find this Pokémon Pokopia quick guide helpful so that you can create some truly incredible environments for your Poké Pals.

The base materials like small logs and ore, can be found quite easily and are in abundance all over Kanto. This guide will focus on materials that are a bit more difficult to find or require using base materials to create them:

  • Obtain Lumber – Befriend Grass Pokémon with the Chop speciality and give them Small Logs, which they can cut into lumber for you.
  • Obtain Bricks – Befriend Fire Pokémon and give them Squishy Clay, which they can forge into bricks.
  • Obtain Iron Ore – Befriend a Pokémon with the Recycle speciality, like Trubbish or Porygon, and they can turn Nonburnable Garbage into Iron Ore. You can also find Iron Ore in Rocky Ridges or by using Rock Smash on piles of metal.
  • Obtain Paper – Befriend a Pokémon with the Recycle speciality, like Trubbish or Porygon, and they can turn wastepaper found in Sparkling Skylands into paper.
  • Obtain Paint – Befriend a Pokémon with the Crush speciality like Onix, Geodude, Amaura, Conkeldurr, or Pawmo, and give them berries. They will turn them into different coloured paints depending on the type of berry you give them.
  • Obtain Glass – Create or acquire a furnace (from Rocky Ridges) and deposit Volcanic ash inside. Then, take a fire Pokémon to the furnace, and it will heat the furnace to turn the ash into glass.
  • Obtain Iron Ingots, Copper Ingots, and Gold Ingots – Create or acquire a furnace (from Rocky Ridges) and deposit copper ore, iron ore, or gold ore inside. Then, take a fire Pokémon to the furnace, and it will heat the furnace to turn the ore into its respective ingots
  • Obtain Pokémetal and Rare Pokémetal – Just like with the ores, create or acquire a furnace (from Rocky Ridges) and deposit the Pokémetal or Rare Pokémetal Fragments inside. Then, take a fire Pokémon to the furnace, and it will heat the furnace to turn the fragments into its respective metal.
  • Obtain Concrete –  Create or acquire a Concrete Mixer (found in Sparkling Skylands), and add limestone to it. Then, take a Pokémon with the Crush speciality to it, and it will crush the limestone into concrete for you.
  • Obtain Tinkagears – Take Iron Ingots to Tinkmaster (Tinkaton, found in Sparkling Skylands), and they can convert them into Tinka Gears, which are used for crafting certain items.

As always, we hope you found this guide helpful!
