The time has come for Princess Zelda to set out on her very own adventure in the all-new The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for the Nintendo Switch, and because it’s dangerous to go alone, we’re on hand with a small series of guides to help you, the player find your way in this new Hyrule.
In this guide, we are detailing every Piece of Heart that can be discovered in Faron Wetlands:
Every Faron Wetlands Heart Piece in Echoes of Wisdom:
Faron Wetlands Piece of Heart #1: (Inside a Cave)
Whilst exploring Faron Wetlands, there is a small ramped platform players can find that will take them into a poorly lit cave. In the very first room of said cave, a Piece of Heart can be seen to the left of where you enter. Provided Tri has been levelled up at least once, by heading northwest, you can find a ledge wide enough that you can build a bridge of Old-Bed Echos to get you closer to the Piece of Heart. Once on the lower ledge to where the Peice of Heart resides, you can place another bed, or transform into Zelda’s Swordfighter form, and leap up onto the higher ledge to grab the Piece of Heart.
Faron Wetlands Piece of Heart #2: (Deku Scrub Lockup)
During the events of the Main Quest, “A Rift in Faron Wetlands,” Zelda, unfortunetely finds herself being incarcerated, but this actually works out to the player’s advantage. When trying to escape, players will come across a long elongated room with two large cells. Ignoring the cells, go to where the three decorative shrubs are lined up against a wall.
Move the shrub in the middle with Bind to reveal a door. The the door to be taken to a room where the Piece of Heart resides. Move the items in the room to build a path to the Piece of Heart.
Faron Wetlands Piece of Heart #3: (Inside a Cave)
In a cave north of the heart-shaped body of water, swim to the centermost part of the cave, where Needleflys can be seen flying above it. Defeat the Needleflys and make your way up to the ledge and get past the Armos to collect the Piece of Heart.
Faron Wetlands Piece of Heart #4: (Hidden Ruins)
Once you have beaten Faron Temple, players can return to Scrubton to speak to an Deku Scrub NPC to start the “Cotton-Candy Hunt.” This Side Quest sees the return of Smog, the cloud-shaped enemy you encounter at the Eastern Temple. This time around, players will need to venture forth to the Hidden Ruins in Faron Wetlands, which is now fully accessible as previously rubble prevented players from being able to explore the dungeon.
With the rubble now cleared, players are free to explore the Hidden Ruins in their entirety, solving puzzles as they go until you encounter Smog in the final room. Defeat Smog in a simillar manner you did before to reveal the Piece of Heart.
